What is the one thing you enjoy most about working for CTS?
“The one thing I enjoy most about working here at Carr’s is the time I get to spend outdoors instead of having to work inside. I also enjoy helping customers and trusting the fact we are giving them quality tree work. I believe what we do is successful based on our unmatched level of tree work and customer service.”

What is the working atmosphere like at CTS?
“It’s a great place to work, more like a big family or a big group of friends. There are a lot of hard working easy going guys, management included. I always feel looked after and cared for which is not the case at many other places and is a great model for safety.”

How has CTS had an impact on your life beyond work?
“Most of my jobs in the past have been just a paycheck, but with this I have been challenged to make other people happy with my work but doing the best I can each and every time. I’ve never wanted to learn so much about something in a long time, and in turn I come home to my family in a good mood. This is something my family appreciates as I’m able to spend more time with my wife and two kids due to the many three-day weekends.”

What qualities are management personnel looking for in a future employee? What strengths and skills are needed to succeed while working at CTS?
“I believe common sense is the most crucial asset you will ever need at Carr’s. You have to be open-minded and willing to learn. CTS has a lot to offer if you put in the effort and take the time to learn. Attitude and Leadership skills also come to mind as I know I have certainly improved since being given the opportunity to work at CTS. The ability to communicate with people and create a safe working environment also goes a long ways."
